    Customer Success Manager

Here simply to help customers attain the maximum possible value from the products and services they have purchased.

  • Europa Worldwide Group
    2014-2022

    IT Support Manager

I am an experienced IT Support Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics and supply chain industry. An enthusiastic and committed IT Manager with over 9 years’ experience in the IT Industry currently supporting over 1000 users including VIPs (CEO, Directors, etc.) across Europa's Hong Kong, Czech Republic, Belgium & 16 UK sites.

I would consider myself a passionate well-rounded team leader with strong managerial skills capable of leading and motivating individual members, establishing goals, objectives and personal direction whilst adhering to company requirements to maximize personal performance and gain efficiency within their roles.

Whilst at Europa I have managed projects including the successful upgrade of all 1200+ users from XP to windows 10, performed a main site move involving over 250 users, introduced a centralised corporate signature manager across all sites, 4 major site restructures within Erith, introduction of Europa’s first MDM solution to maintain and manage 20 company VIP iPhones, migrating multiple file shares to a central server and introducing a web based holiday/sickness solution to save money on paper and man hours to name a few.

  • ManningMade.com
    2012-present

    Owner & Chief Editor

Editing, updating and generally just playing around with HTML code and features to enhance my understanding and knowledge on the subject. The whole time i'm enjoying it, I'll keep tinkering!

I was debating on having this here as it isn't really technically a job but overall it is something that has enhanced my IT skills so eventually thought it would be best to include it... however nerdy it may be.

  • Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments
    2011-2014

    IT Helpdesk Support Technician

I worked in London for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment as 1st line support for over 100 users including VIPs (CEO, Directors, etc.) and overseas staff in Dubai, India, Singapore and Colombo. I have been creating and managing users in active directory within my role and have been supporting Outlook since we bought it into the company in early April 2013.

Whilst working for CISI, I have also managed projects for the company including the creation of a reporting system alongside a third party software company, implemented an entire new phone system & server, call recording & reporting for call analysis and have been managing 28 iPads for use in training courses for external candidates, board meetings & overseas clients.

I have also presented multiple training sessions - both one to one and group - on multiple systems giving the users an overview and practical demonstration of new systems including Report builder, Swyx, Outlook and iPads.

Education

  • Bexleyheath Academy
    2005-2010

    Student

I attended Bexleayheath Academy (formerly known as Bexleyheath School) where I achieved 15 GCSE grade A-C results.

Very quickly towards my last few years at school I really took to my IT coursework and knew from day one in my final year that it was going to be my main career focus primarily based around support as I love the interaction side as well as having new and different challenges every day, keeping the job both fresh and interesting but most of all a consistent learning curve on a regular basis.

Previously we relied on the driver communicating information – especially delays – by phone, but now the link between LeoCab and wallboard transport will take on this role in real time.

The system incorporates vehicle satellite navigation which combined with traffic monitoring and positional updates means Leonardo is able to more accurately estimate the driver’s arrival time at collection and delivery points and feeds this info back in real-time to the transport office.

The system incorporates vehicle satellite navigation which combined with traffic monitoring and positional updates means Leonardo is able to more accurately estimate the driver’s arrival time at collection and delivery points and feeds this info back in real-time to the transport office.

LeoCab also allows for real-time signature capture and immediate capture and management of discrepancies as well as a photo capability.

Just a geeky fisherman!

In my spare time I enjoy creating and editing my own website for hosting an online CV for myself (as you can see!) to further extend my skills showcasing my CV in a more creative and captivating way, as well as tinkering with other types of HTML on other pages.

I have recently got into fishing with friends and its now become an expensive hobby & passion of mine. It't not about the size of the fish as long as we are catching but a PB is always welcome. Please see some of the catches below.

For many years I have been interested in card tricks and have taught myself a variety of mental, mathematical and systematic card tricks. I also hold a full valid UK driving licence.

A little more about me...

I am a hard working, energetic and punctual individual; I am goal-driven and pride myself on achieving all tasks to the best of my ability.

I am a confident speaker in both small and large groups of people and I have trained employees including standard users as well as heads of department – both in the UK and overseas.

Whilst I am a great team player, I can also work well independently using my initiative so solve any problem placed infront of me.

Alongside my software support knowledge, I am well-versed in changing components, screens and motherboards. Furthermore, I am proficient in configuring iPads and iPhones conforming to company standards. I have a thirst for knowledge and am keen to learn as the IT sector is constantly evolving.

I don't need to get a life, I'm a gamer I have lots of them!

I'm an avid gamer that loves to join friends online and dominate what ever game is presented to me!

Fortnite - We don't talk about Fortnite!

Call of Duty is by far my favourite, I enjoy nothing more than getting into the thick of the warzone wiping the floor with my opponents with the skill to completely turn a losing game around. A self proclaimed 'try-hard', I don't join games to lose, play the objective and win no matter what - Did I mention i'm a bad loser? - I don't see it as a bad thing it just means I have ambition.

Is it an obsession, maybe? Am I competitive, certainly! But I see that as a positive thing, I am always striving for my best, to win & succeed no matter what is put infront of me, be it in my personal, or work life.
